GLOVES OF HOPE
Conducted as part of our U25 Program and proudly sponsored by INPEX, our Gloves of Hope initiative is held every Tuesday at the Hoops 4 Health Training Centre for young people in Darwin. The program provides a structured, supportive space where participants can come together, build confidence, and develop practical skills through boxing-based activities. By bringing young people into a consistent weekly routine, Gloves of Hope strengthens connection, resilience, and a sense of belonging within the community.

More than just boxing, Gloves of Hope is grounded in a healing-centred approach that recognises the complex challenges young people face in their everyday lives. Each session is designed to help regulate and refocus their minds, using movement, mentoring, and positive relationships to create safety and stability. Through this environment, young people are supported to channel their energy in healthy ways, process stress, and build the emotional tools they need to navigate life’s obstacles with strength and hope.
